OK, so I started this tribe because I'm feeling a high potential for Oaktown to re-emerge as a Funk Mecca. There are loads of players here itchin to play, and plenty of people here who LOVE funk. I'm hoping this forum turns into a place where performers, and appreciators of this rump-shiking form of art can come to talk, discuss tunes, shows, and ideas to help us all bring back the funk. Why?
